Terms of Service

“Turtlebyte”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Turtlebyte (sole proprietorship of Tilak Kumar G), registered in India under GSTIN 29BINPT2390C1ZW, with its principal place of business at the address listed at the end of this page.

These site-level Terms apply to:

• Your use of the https://turtlebyte.in website (the “Site”).
• Digital products sold by Turtlebyte (each, a “Product”), subject to that Product’s own product-specific terms.
• Engineering, consulting, and related professional services provided by Turtlebyte (collectively, “Services”), subject to any separate engagement letter or Statement of Work.

Each Product is operated on its own domain and has its own product-specific Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. For matters relating to a specific Product, the product-specific terms supersede these site-level Terms to the extent of any conflict.

For Services, any signed engagement letter or Statement of Work between you and Turtlebyte supersedes these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

Turtlebyte does not currently sell products directly from this website. When products launch, each will be hosted on its own domain with its own product-specific Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. Those product-specific policies will supersede this site-level policy for matters relating to the relevant product. A current list will be maintained on this page.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. To purchase a Product or contract Services, you must additionally have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any related infrastructure.
• Scrape, harvest, or mass-extract content from the Site, or use the Site to train third-party AI systems.
• Submit malicious code, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with the Site’s normal operation.
• Use the contact form or any communication channel for spam, unsolicited marketing, or harassment.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, code, and design — is owned by Turtlebyte or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.

For Services, intellectual property arising from a specific engagement is governed by the relevant engagement letter or Statement of Work. In the absence of a written agreement, deliverables prepared for a client are owned by the client upon full payment, while Turtlebyte retains ownership of any pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how used to produce them.

Turtlebyte offers engineering and consulting services, including custom software development, infrastructure, data engineering, and AI/ML integration. Engagements are formalised by a written engagement letter or Statement of Work that sets out scope, fees, deliverables, timelines, payment terms, and intellectual-property arrangements specific to that engagement. Submitting an inquiry via the Site does not by itself create a contract.

Payments for Turtlebyte digital Products are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects the payment, issues the customer-facing invoice, and remits applicable taxes (including international VAT/GST) on Turtlebyte’s behalf. Dodo Payments’ own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction itself.

Payments for engineering and consulting Services are billed directly by Turtlebyte against a written engagement letter or Statement of Work, typically via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS for Indian clients, SWIFT or equivalent for international clients) or through a Razorpay-issued invoice. Indian GST is applied where applicable.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, subject to any product-specific refund policy that applies to the relevant Product.

The Site uses third-party services including, among others, a contact-form submission service, hosting providers, and analytics tools (where enabled). Each third-party service operates under its own terms and privacy practices. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared and with whom.

The Site, Products, and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Turtlebyte does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Information provided on the Site, including content related to engineering practices and interview preparation, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional or legal advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Turtlebyte’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site, a Product, or Services shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to Turtlebyte for the relevant Product or Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Turtlebyte shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turtlebyte and its proprietor against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, a Product, or Services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site, a Product, or Services at any time if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Termination of access to a specific Product is also governed by the Product’s own terms.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Site, Products, or Services at any time. For active client engagements, material changes are governed by the relevant engagement letter or Statement of Work.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where you have an account or active engagement, may also be communicated by email. Continued use of the Site, a Product, or Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
